The St. Paul's Stewardship Committee is launching a new initiative with endless possibilities for spiritual growth, renewed connections and new support for the church.
The St. Paul's Alumni Network (SPAN) will create a regular electronic newsletter for as many former St. Paulians as possible. There are countless people who have attended St. Paul's for X amount of time, often when in college or a short-term position. For many of them, St. Paul's has been an anchor during tough times, or a special place while they were raising their families, and they often have a profound loyalty and affection for St. Paul's.
Simultaneously, we remember them, and we care about them, for they are part of St. Paul's life and times.
A no-dues alumni network will keep them informed about major developments in their former church family, and also, on occasion, provide the opportunity to contribute to the church on special projects, annual appeals, or (in the worst-case scenarios) a fire or emergency situation.
If you have a friend or family member who attended St. Paul's and who might be interested in being an "alum," please send their name and e-mail to alumni@stpaulsithaca.org by December 20. We will reach out to these former St. Paulians, tell them about our plans, and ask if they'd like to receive an occasional electronic newsletter, which may include a details on current church challenges and opportunities.
